    Isn’t the internet a wonderful place? I would never have had access to as many resources and information about birth as I did, if it wasn’t for the web. I also would have never discovered modern cloth diapers and mei tai baby carriers without the internet. The internet is a great place to find like-minded people, and reading online discussion boards is a wonderful way of gaining insights into the minds of people who disagree with you too. Opinions you would never otherwise even have access to come to you with a click of your mouse. Take medical births, for instance. Read the rest of this entry »

  • Does anyone really control childbirth?

    I came across this article, titled “Who controls Childbirth – mom-to-be or doc?” on MSNBC yesterday. It is certainly fascinating, and raises many questions about birth, today’s birthing environment, and what women can do to have the birth with the best possible outcomes for them and their babies.
